Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026. This is a starter policy for the ATS Key prototype and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before wide launch.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We never store your password itself.
• Resume and job data: the resume you upload or paste, the job you pick, and the tailored result. This is personal information.
• Payment data: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive a customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
• Technical data: your IP address is used briefly for rate limiting and security, and in standard server logs.

How long we keep it

• Resume text, job selections and tailored results are kept only for your working session and are automatically deleted within about 24 hours of your last activity, or right away when you log out.
• Uploaded files are read in memory to extract the text. The original file is not saved.
• Your account is kept until you delete it from the Account page.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: search jobs, format and score your resume, let you download it, and manage your subscription. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. Job searches send your search words to public job boards. If AI tailoring is turned on, resume text may be sent to an AI provider to process your request.

Security

The site uses HTTPS encryption, secure cookies, hashed passwords and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not include data you do not need, such as your Social Security number, in your resume.

Your choices

You can log out to delete session data, and delete your account at any time. For questions, contact the site owner.
